The shoulder abduction immobilizer fits either left or right arm. It allows the shoulder and arm to remain in a neutral position thereby encouraging effective healing. It helps prevent Post-Operative rotation contractures that can occur in a sling by allowing the arm to be positioned in a variety of positions dependent on Post-Op requirements (anterior ot posterior). The pillow allows auxiliary air exchange to reduce the risk of secondary infections. Measure the distance from the elbow crease to the wrist and reference the sizing chart below.
