MEASURE CLEARANCE OF STRUT
• If malleoulos bone is not constricted by the strut, the Prefab model should provide relief for the indications shown below.
• Measure the distance from floor to the apex (center) of the malleoulous (ankle) bone. Measurement must be made standing bare foot (no shoes or socks) from the floor to the apex of the ankle. The measurement must be between 2 ½ “to 3 ½ “ .

To Order the Prefabricated Caron Fiber AFO:
Step 1: select “ORDER” option and “ORDER PREFAB CARBON AFO”. Follow steps to pay for product and select shipping options.
Step 2: It is necessary that the footplate be exact sized for the shoe the customer will be using. Remove the insole from the shoe you will be using with the AFO. The AFO footplate is normally placed under the shoe insole.
Step 3 : Trace an outline of the shoe insole on a sheet of paper. Fax, mail or email the insole tracing to us , be sure to include your name, address, email and telephone number. Contact customer support for assistance if needed.
